COST OF CARS & INSURANCE CAR

ANNUAL COST OF KEEPING A CAR IN ONTARIO (APPROXIMATED – Based on statistical expenditure)

The following is an estimate of the amount you would expend yearly in Ontario, based on the cost of a new car. Calculations were made as a reference, and with cars of different CYLINDERING. These considerations have been taken into account:

  • A 12% from the price of a new car  was taken as depreciation cost
  • The cost of the yearly insurance is the one the a driver would usually pay, having a license and no experience in driving in Canada or North America. The estimate is just a reference, and it is the average amount some people pay in similar conditions.

The average cost of petrol in Ontario is 1 litre = $0.98 (Julio 2007)
